Taking responsibility to preserve Earth’s ecosystems.
The climate crisis is one of the greatest threats of our time. And everything we do has an impact. The science is clear: we can’t wait for an inclusive, carbon neutral economy. We have a responsibility to create a meaningful plan to reduce our emissions and support change now.
At Traditional Medicinals, we acknowledge our responsibility to directly confront the many threats of climate change. With a comprehensive strategy, we are looking at everything we do and everything we touch, prioritizing renewable energy and collaborating on solutions that protect, sustain, and restore nature. We are looking outward to help catalyze change across our value chain, inspiring our partners to help us all protect the health of our planet — because we know our planet and our most vulnerable communities can’t wait.
We are focused on the road ahead. While we have offset our Scope 1 and 2 emissions since 2014, we’re now establishing baseline greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for our full footprint, including Scope 3. We will use these improved measurements to identify areas for carbon reduction and help us continue our journey towards zero emissions. We also developed, tested, and approved a compostable overwrap for launch in 2022, continuing to innovate for the best quality options to reduce and eliminate waste.
Our commitment spans our entire operations and supply chain: supporting regenerative and sustainable agricultural practices, wild collection, renewable energy investments, material efficiency, climate alliances with our suppliers, and many other planet-positive initiatives.
