Thai Ginger Digestive Soup recipe. Yields: 1 quart. Time: 20 mins. 1. Boil 2 cups of water, tun off heat and steep the ginger tea bags for 10 mins. Remove tea bags & set aside tea. 2. Melt the coconut oil in a pan. Add in the garlic, lemongrass, and scallions and saute for a few mins until garlic is soft. 3. Add in the mushrooms and saute for 5 mins. 4. Pour in the ginger tea and coconut milk. Bring to a gentle simmer for 5 mins. 5. Toss in the fresh herbs, lime zest, and juice, salt, and pepper.
How to brew the perfect cup of tea. 1. Pour 8 OZ freshly boiled water over tea bag. 2. Cover & Steep. The hot water will penetrate the herbs and extract the beneficial compounds of the plants. Covering the tea keeps the aromatic compunds inside. Steep for 5 to 15 minutes. (It's worth the wait!). 3.
